Dr. Sodroski is currently Professor of Pathology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School as well as Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases, Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Sodroski is also currently Associate Director of the Harvard Medical School Center of AIDS Research, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Sodroski is an expert in retrovirology, especially viral tropism specificity. Dr. Sodroski received his M.D. from Jefferson Medical College and received postdoctoral training at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in the laboratory of Dr. William Haseltine. Dr. Sodroski also was a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Viagene Inc.
